Multi-Source Paper

Please note: You are required to choose ONE abstract ideal or concept generated from the Proust Questionnaire--not three. (Ex: choose EITHER love, OR betrayal, OR freedom, OR loyalty, etc).

5 paragraphs (1 ½-2  pages approx )
1. A clear unifying thesis about your chosen concept. ex: “Even though the civil rights movement made great strides in achieving racial equality in our country, racial discrimination is still prevalent in our society today.”
2. Three distinct “texts” that clearly illustrate your thesis. Each one must be cited/referenced in the paper, either as a direct quote, paraphrase, or both (ex: Novel: Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn; article from today’s Newsday on Affirmative Action in colleges; and MLK Jr’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
3. Works cited page with all three works cited per MLA format, including the correct medium (song, interview, film, etc).
